By creating an account or using Hird ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
Hird is a job-search management platform that helps users track job applications, build and tailor resumes using AI, manage a personal job Kanban board, and gain analytics on their job-search activity. Features may evolve over time and some require a paid subscription.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Hird, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@hird.cc if you suspect unauthorised access. Hird is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all resumes, notes, and other content you create on Hird ("User Content"). By uploading or entering User Content, you grant Hird a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell or share your personal data or User Content with advertisers.
Certain features of Hird require a paid subscription. All fees are displayed in EUR and processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase with no recurring fees. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact hello@hird.cc within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied.
All software, design, trademarks, logos, and content created by Hird are the exclusive property of Hird and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data-protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Hird does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. AI-generated suggestions are provided for assistance only; Hird does not guarantee employment outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hird shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Hird in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@hird.cc. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which Hird is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
